Bangkok walks start today -- Wat Chana Song Khram, and the Grand Palace

There was a McD's just beside our hotel, so since our room didn't come with any breakfast, these were what we had:

Ooops! Already took a bite before taking a picture... Same taste but doubly filling!

The coffee was surprisingly good!

Mc Thai, Mc Thai, Mc Thai!!!

This was our view while we were eating at McDonalds.

After that satisfying breakfast, we crossed Wat Chana Songkhram to get to the River Pier.

We purchased day passes worth 150 baht each. It was actually almost 11am already, but we were determined to accomplish many stops on the river today.

Our embarkation point, Phra Arthit station or Banglamphoo...

A fellow backpacker pointed us to Navalai, which he said was a very nice hotel and advised us to try it as well for future travels to Bangkok. Navalai is just in front of the river. Very accessible and convenient if you plan to make the river ferry your main mode of transportation in touring Bangkok.

Beautiful view of Rama VIII suspension bridge.

Our first stop was at #9, Tha Chang station, which took us to the Grand Palace.
